This is the story of miss Betsy Pitts
who searched long and hard for the perfect mitts.
She looked through books and websites and magazines too,
but all of the patterns she found wouldn't do.
She told a friend of her terrible plight
and how she'd never have mittens that were right.
Britt listened to Betsy's description with care
then bought some yarn and without a moment to spare
she knit and she knit and she knit and she knit
until she had completed the perfect mitts
and they all lived happily ever after.
