Original design by Jackie McKernan
Jackie McKernan loves to style yarn. She daydreams of it while styling hair at her day-job. Check out her other designs in Tangled Magazine.
The original design for this sweet vintage sweater was published in Handicrafter Magazine many years ago. The pattern was written in one size only, over a very bulky gauge and with rather vague instructions. Jackie McKernan loved the sweater, but wanted to see it in a finer gauge and multiple sizes - We are glad she did! The contemporary version reflects the curve-hugging deep ribbing, feminine neckline, and sleeve details perfectly.
